Gehard Demetz - Your monsters are just like mine

I really enjoy Demetz use of scale simular to the work of Ron Mueck because it can have such an affect on the way a piece of work is viewed. Demetz enlarges the scale of children making them appear more powerful than they really are. Demetz works around the theme of children's theories of physcology and also the loss of innocence.

John Outterbridge - Broken Dance, Ethnic Heritage Series

Outterbridge is an African american artist who is also a civil rights activist his work revolves around the affects of slavery, its history and the cultural revolution that took place in the 60's and 70's. Outterbridge collects broken glass,rusty steel and other materials from various locations making his work multimedia. 

H is work attracts me because he uses unwanted materials but assembles them so well that they appear polished in a sense.

Juul Kraijer - 33 Untitled Photograph

Kraijer originates from Germany "It’s a 
recognisable style – pure, pared down and distinct from the more ostentatious 
styles of southern Europe." i enjoy looking at this piece of work because it is so incredibly beautiful, and a wonderful example of fine art photography.
